A very creative idea I just found online!
Children will love this!

Here's a video to show you how to do it.
I do not own it.

Have fun being creative!

Hello everyone!

Today I am posting a vintage pattern I found online for free (don't ask me where, I don't remember!).
I made the set and decided to crochet shorts instead of pants and the result was really cute! I hope you enjoy!

Here is mine! It turned out very cute!

Hello everyone and welcome! Hola amigas!
This is my very first project I am posting here.
Also, the toy I made is the first african flower project I tried.
It' s not suitable for beginners and even for intermediate crocheters it can be quite challenging at some parts. I have uploaded a step-by-step tutorial with many pictures to help anybody who want to make it! I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to share and ask about anything you don't understand.
Please note that YOU MAY NOT SELL THIS PATTERN OR USE IT AS YOUR OWN.

The pattern I used is from the Latin American magazine "Tejido Practico" and I am sharing some pages to help you out but please do not sell this pattern in any way!

Oh, if I make any mistakes in english is because it's not my native language! So please forgive me in advance and of course feel free to correct me!
Happy crocheting!

Let's begin with the materials you're going to need.
I used medium worsted acrylic yarn and 3.5 mm hook .
Match the hook with the yarn you want to use so that the result is a little tight.
I didn't keep track of the amount of the yarn I used in total
but I think you're going to need at least 4 balls of 50 gr each.
Also, you'll need filling for the toy and tapestry needle.

The number of the motifs in total are 42.
More specifically :
 1  3-petal motif
3  4-petal motifs
19  5-petal motifs
17  6-petal motifs and
 2  7-petal motifs

Finally, you need a set of safety eyes or buttons.

Los motivos son 42 en total y no 37 como dice en la revista.

There are different versions of the african flower.
I am not using the one that is shown above.
Once I have some time I will post a detailed tutorial about the motifs.

Once we complete all the motifs and we sew the ends we are ready for the joining.

We start with the head.

If you're using safety eyes you should put them at this point before continuing the joining.

I found matching some motifs challenging, so instead of sewing, I tied them temporarily with a piece of yarn until I was sure about how to sew them.

The head is almost ready. Legs are next.

They are the easiest part of all!

Then you need to attach the legs to the main body starting with the rear.

Believe me at this point you'll feel very proud of yourself! You're almost done with the hard part!

 Joining the front legs

After joining the belly and chest motifs you're done!

What you need to do now is attach the head to the body!

And you're almost done!! Yaaaay!
Sew the ears and add fringes to create the hair and the tail and you're finished!

Now go outside, take some pictures and show me what you've made!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
Until the next one, bye bye!!
